Full Moon Flight

The main goal for this painting was to figure out the backlighting, for it to have contrast, but also not having the dragon too dark. Also for the composition I tried to give a monumental feel. I like the upright format, for it does allow compositions that work well as a poster. I did only a ruff sketch and gone into painting fairly early.
